Is fluoride removed from your water?

We start with a federally or state approved water source and treat it with our exclusive 12-Step Water Perfection™ Program which includes reverse osmosis, to produce a premium quality water perfect for drinking, cooking, and all household needs. Our system effectively treats a wide range of unwanted substances, including fluoride. We utilize ultraviolet light and ozone to disinfect, and we are effectively treating for organic and inorganic contaminants as well as hardness minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron. Watermill Express water when tested for fluoride will typically have a “ND” result. “ND” indicates that the contaminant in question was not detected above the minimum detection level. The EPA Primary Drinking Water Standard for fluoride is 4 mg/L and currently the minimum detectable test level is 0.5 mg/L. As the minimum detection level is above zero, we would not be able to provide you with a definitive answer concerning the total removal of fluoride thus we utilize accurate terminology such as “effectively treats”.
