Is your water safe for babies?

Our water is safe for people of all ages, including infants. We start with a federally or state approved water source and utilize our exclusive 12-Step Water Perfection™ Program, which includes reverse osmosis, to produce premium quality safe drinking water perfect for drinking, cooking, and all household needs. Our “last mile” multi-barrier system effectively treats a wide range of unwanted substances such as PFAS, arsenic, lead, and disinfection byproducts. Additionally, our process and philosophy are such that we add nothing to the water, including flavors, fluoride, or supplements. According to the World Health Organization the COVID-19 virus has not been detected in drinking water supplies and the risk to water supplies is low. Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have stated the COVID-19 virus is a type of virus that is particularly susceptible to disinfection and standard treatment performed by the local water municipalities, and that these disinfectant processes should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. Watermill Express’ multi-barrier water purification system utilizes multiple standard treatments and disinfection processes. They are reverse osmosis membrane filtration, 1-micron filtration, 5-micron filtration, ozonation sterilization, ultraviolet disinfection, granulated activated carbon, and post filtration. In particular, our ozone sterilization and ultraviolet disinfection systems are known to be an effective disinfectant in treating water containing bacteria and viruses. In addition to following guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and local and regional health agencies, our Route Service Technicians deep clean and sanitize all vending areas daily, following CDC guidelines for proper disinfection. To ensure Work Safe Plans, all field and administrative staff also follow rigorous hygiene practices, proper hand washing, social distancing, and illness protocol. As part of our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), we follow strict maintenance schedules to ensure proper filter replacement and every location is computer monitored 24 hours a day. As with all products that you give your baby, please check with your child’s pediatrician.
